Tubo Mágico -- Magic Tube

Tubo Mágico
Este es un variación en “puntos de vistos” de la Guía de EEPE. Da a las estudiantes cordones de hilo. Los estudiantes deben poner el hilo en el suelo para que tengan una forma. Los estudiantes deben escribir cuales cosas (vivos y no vivos) que los enconaran en las formas. Después de 15 minutos, diga a los estudiantes a imagen que la forma es un “Tubo Mágico” como una bombilla. El Tubo Mágico es abajo y encima de la tierra. ¿Cuáles elementos están?

Variaciones:
-Alfabeto- Si Ud esta ensenado un grupo de estudiantes menores, los estudiantes pueden escribir cosas por cada letra en el alfabeto (ej: A = aire, B = búho, C =cáscara)
- Puntos de visto - El sugerencia de EEPE es de los estudiantes dibujan mapas que corresponden con puntos de visto de algunos animales. Por ejemplo, en un escalera de 20x20cm por una hormiga o 2x2kn por un cóndor.
-La ventana- También, los estudiantes pueden hacer “una ventana” con los brazos. Pregunta a los estudiantes que ellos pueden ver. Después, los estudiantes pueden escoger un objeto en sus ventanas y lo examinan en el espacio entre las manos. Después, pueden lo examen en el espacio entre dos dedos.

Con estas actividades, los estudiantes pueden preguntar sobre el medio ambiente, y los profesores pueden explicar las diferencias entre sere vivos (bióticos) y seres no vivos (abióticos), y pueden introducir los conceptos de micro y macro.

Magic Tube
This is a variation on “puntos de vistas” from the EEPE Guidebook. Give the students a piece of string and have them lay it on the ground in whatever shape their little hearts desire. If hula hoops are available you can use those instead. Have the students observe and write down what is in their shapes. After about 15 minutes tell them to pretend that their shape is a magic tube that extends below the ground and up to the sky. Have them reflect and write down what they might find there too.

Variations:-If you need a more guided activity, like for younger children, have the students write down an object for certain letters of the alphabet (A = ant B= bug, bird C= cat)
-EEPE suggests that the students draw maps of the area according to the point of a view of an animal they might find. For example on a scale of 20x20cm map for an ant or 2 x2km map for a condor.
- If you have no supplies you can also do the magic window. Have the students stand with their arms spread wide and ask them what they can see in that window. Then have them choose something in the window to examine more closely and have them make a window as wide as their head. Then they should choose something to examine even more closely in the space of an inch.

You can use any of these activites to prompt questions, to explain the differences between living (biotic) and nonliving (abiotic) things, and to define macro- and microcosms.
