La red de alimenticias
¿Cuál es la conexión entre los animales y el ambiente? Ud. puede crear una cadena alimenticia con sus estudiantes. Una cadena (o una red) muestra como todos los elementos del ecosistema están conectados.

El maestro tiene un hilo y va a lanzarlo a otro elemento que necesita o que le necesita. Diga a los estudiantes a agarren el hilo y explica como están relacionados (ej: Yo soy una vaca y yo como maíz.). Entonces, el estudiante lanza el hilo a otro elemento hasta todos los estudiantes están agarrando el hilo y formando una red.

Hay un desastre! Todos los insectos se murieron. (O Ud. puede pensar en otro desastre.) Los insectos deben dejar caer el hilo. ¿Quién esta conectados con los insectos? Ellos dejen caer sus hilos también hasta todos los estudiantes no tienen hilo.


The Food Web
How are the elements of the ecosytem connected? With your students you can create a food web that shows how animals, plants, and their environment are interelated.

The teacher holds one end of a ball of string and throws it to another element that he/she need or that needs him/her. The students should hold on to the string, throw the ball to another element and explain how they are connected.(Ej. I am a cow and I eat corn) The students continue throwing the ball of string until all of the students are holding a piece of it, forming a web.

There is a disaster! All of the insects have died! (Or you can think of another disaster – natural or manmade) The insects should drop their piece of string. Who has a connection with an insect? These students should also drop their strings. Then the students connected to these should drop their strings etc. until no one is holding the string.
